Love Island All Stars has returned for its second season, but fans are already voicing their concerns. The popular reality show premiered on Monday, January 13, on ITV2, featuring familiar faces like Gabby Allen, Scott Thomas, India Reynolds, Luca Bish, and Curtis Pritchard, all back for another chance at love.

While excitement was high for the return of All Stars, many viewers took to social media to express their discontent just moments into the premiere. The primary complaint centered around the ages of some contestants, with fans suggesting that a few of the Islanders might be too old for the dating show.

One viewer tweeted, "Is this Love Island for aunties and uncles? #LoveIsland," while another questioned, "Whose idea was it to bring 40-year-old Marcel back? Send that pensioner home to his kid #LoveIsland."

A third fan remarked, "34 years old and on Love Island is crazy," and a fourth commented, "There should be an age limit on Love Island because why are you here at 30+?"

This season's lineup includes Kaz Crossley, Luca Bish, Marcel Sommerville, India Reynolds, Scott Thomas, Olivia Hawkins, Gabby Allen, Curtis Pritchard, Ronnie Vint, Catherine Agbaje, Elma Pazar, and Nas Majeed. Maya Jama returns as host, having made her debut last year.

The second installment of All Stars follows the inaugural season from January 2023, which saw Tom Clare and Molly Smith crowned as winners. The couple remains together a year later.

Tensions are anticipated to rise this season, especially with exes Gabby and Marcel reuniting in the villa. The duo originally coupled up during the third season when Gabby entered as a bombshell. Their relationship lasted a year outside the villa before ending amid cheating allegations against Marcel during a holiday. Marcel later married and subsequently divorced before returning to the show.

Reflecting on his return, Marcel shared, "I thought I’d found my happily ever after, but the universe had other plans. Every time I’m at a crossroads in life, Love Island seems to pop up. So, I thought, why not?"

Love Island All Stars airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9 PM.
