Retail giant Walmart has introduced a new logo to kick off the new year.

This "brand refresh," as the company describes it, pays homage to its history while incorporating modern updates.

Walmart highlighted that the new color palette—True Blue and Spark Yellow—draws from the retailer’s signature hues and its blue heritage, while also bringing fresh elements to revitalize the brand.

“Our goal is to be an inspiring, digital-first retailer that offers all the products, brands, and services our customers desire. This update, inspired by the legacy of our founder, Sam Walton, reflects our growing capabilities and enduring commitment to meet the needs of our customers today and in the future,” said William White, senior vice president and Chief Marketing Officer of Walmart U.S., in a press release.

The new look began rolling out in stores in October 2024 and will continue to be implemented nationwide over time. As of January 13, Walmart's Instagram account already featured the updated logo.
