Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen top the nominations for the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Mariah Carey and Lady Gaga will be honored with special accolades.

Both Swift and Wallen have earned 10 nominations each, closely followed by Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, and Post Malone, who received nine nods apiece. The awards ceremony will air live on March 17 from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Fox, highlighting efforts to rebuild Los Angeles after recent devastating wildfires.

In the Artist of the Year category, Swift, Wallen, Lamar, Carpenter, and Malone face tough competition from SZA, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, and Teddy Swims. During the event, Carey will receive the Icon Award, Lady Gaga will be honored with the Innovator Award, and Swift will be recognized with a new accolade, Tour of the Century, for her groundbreaking Eras Tour.

The 2025 show will introduce five new socially voted categories: Favorite Soundtrack, Favorite Broadway Debut, Favorite Surprise Guest, Favorite Tour Tradition, and Favorite K-pop Dance Challenge.

Now in its 12th year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrates the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and its app throughout 2024. The event will also support wildfire recovery efforts by driving donations to FireAidLA.org, with funds distributed under the guidance of the Annenberg Foundation. Fans can tune in nationwide on iHeartRadio stations or via the iHeartRadio app.

2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards to Honor Artists and Support Los Angeles Wildfire Relief

The iHeartRadio Music Awards celebrate the year’s most-played artists across its stations and app. This year, the event will also pay tribute to Los Angeles in the aftermath of recent wildfires, encouraging donations to FireAidLA.org.

FireAid is a star-studded benefit concert for wildfire relief, featuring performances by Billie Eilish, Stevie Wonder, Green Day, Joni Mitchell, and more. Proceeds from ticket sales and contributions to FireAidLA.org will be directed toward short-term relief efforts and long-term wildfire prevention initiatives, guided by the Annenberg Foundation, according to a press release.

“Our iHeartRadio Music Awards show is not a competition,” said John Sykes, president of entertainment enterprises, and Tom Poleman, chief programming officer, in a joint statement. “It’s a night to honor the incredible artists and songs fans cherished throughout the year. This year’s show also reflects our commitment to supporting communities affected by tragedy, including Los Angeles.”

The 2025 ceremony will feature special honors, with Lady Gaga receiving the Innovator Award for her impact on music and global culture, and Mariah Carey being celebrated with the Icon Award for her record-breaking career. Additionally, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour will be recognized with the inaugural Tour of the Century award, alongside her multiple nominations.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards airs live on March 17 from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, blending music celebration with meaningful contributions to wildfire recovery.
