Coca-Cola to Launch New Orange Cream Flavor This Month

Coca-Cola Orange Cream, a blend of classic cola with hints of orange and vanilla, is slated for release on February 10 across the U.S. and Canada.

Following the discontinuation of Coca-Cola Spiced, Coca-Cola is set to introduce a fresh addition to its product lineup.

Coca-Cola Orange Cream, a blend of classic cola with hints of orange and vanilla, is slated for release on February 10 across the U.S. and Canada. The beverage will be available in both regular and zero-sugar options.

According to the Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Company, the inspiration for this new soda stems from rising consumer interest in nostalgic, comforting flavors.

The orange-and-cream combination has been popular for decades, dating back to the Creamsicle ice cream bar, which made its debut in 1937. More recently, the flavor has experienced a resurgence—Olipop, a probiotic soda brand, launched an orange cream variety in 2021, while Carvel brought back its Orange Dreamy Creamy ice cream last year for the first time since 1972.

Fast food giant Wendy’s also jumped on the trend, introducing an Orange Dreamsicle Frosty last spring.

Coca-Cola has been actively experimenting with new flavors to keep its brand fresh and exciting for consumers.

In 2022, the company launched Coca-Cola Creations, a limited-edition series that featured unique variations of Coke with flavors such as coconut, strawberry, and even Oreo.

Last February, Coca-Cola Spiced—a raspberry-infused cola—was introduced as a permanent addition to the lineup. However, the company unexpectedly discontinued it in September, announcing that a new flavor would take its place in 2025.

While Coca-Cola Orange Cream won’t be a permanent fixture, it is expected to remain on store shelves at least through the first quarter of 2026.

Coca-Cola’s North American marketing executive, Shakir Moin, previously noted that the company is working to accelerate product development.

‘‘Consumers are moving faster. The market is moving forward faster. We’ve got to be faster than the speed of the market,’’ he said.
