Lil X Takes Over the Oval Office: Musk’s Son Steals the Spotlight at the White House
Elon Musk’s four-year-old son, X Æ A-XII, widely known as "Little X," recently made headlines after accompanying his father to the White House for a meeting with President Donald Trump. The young boy, full of energy, moved freely around the Oval Office, at times sitting on Musk’s shoulders and even sharing a brief exchange with the President.
Elon Musk’s four-year-old son, Lil X, is no stranger to public appearances. Whether at SpaceX events or Tesla unveilings, he’s often seen right by his father’s side. So, it was no surprise when he became the center of attention during a recent visit to the White House.
One moment that caught attention was when Little X, with childlike innocence, politely stated, "Please forgive me, I need to pee." His unexpected remark amused many in the room, earning him praise for his good manners.
While several people found the moment charming, his mother, Canadian musician Grimes, had a different reaction. Responding to a social media post about the event, she wrote, "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh."
Musk and Grimes, who share three children—X Æ A-XII, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus—have had a complex relationship, including an ongoing custody dispute.
Having Lil X in the room made it nearly impossible for anyone to stay focused. From officials to the press, everyone found themselves drawn to his lively presence. Whether it was his curious nature or simply the unexpected sight of a toddler in the Oval Office, the youngest guest managed to steal the show effortlessly.
Throughout the visit, Lil X’s reactions and playful antics kept everyone entertained. At one point, he got particularly mischievous, causing Musk to laugh. "Sorry for this," Musk said with a chuckle. "I might actually enjoy this, but he's sticking his fingers in my ears..."
During the meeting, President Trump affectionately referred to Little X as a "great guy" with a "high IQ," acknowledging the impression the young boy left on those present.
